SKILLS REQUIRED

Client education, customer service, radiography, proper animal restraint, peripheral catheter placement, venipuncture, administration of oral and parenteral medications, knowledge of various routes of drug administration, aseptic surgical area preparation, autoclave operation, recording vital signs, basic laboratory skills, maintain proper medical records and computer skills.

EDUCATION

Must be currently licensed as a CVT in Oregon.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

The technician is the primary point of contact for the client during exam room visits, as well as at check in and discharge for surgical and dental cases. The technician also performs data entry during and after the appointment and performs various medical tasks during the appointment or procedure. the technician will also assist in surgery, perform dental cleanings and radiography.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 – $48,000.00 per year
